Skiing until your legs begin to burn, or simply taking things a little easier and enjoying every moment – here on the Schmitten, avid alpine fans of all skill levels will find their own personal ski El Dorado: 77 kilometres of slopes (25 km of which are classified as "difficult") are just waiting to be skied by you. If you crave even more, let it all "hang out" on the moguls run, the timing hill, or on the training slope.

along one of our numerous winter hiking paths, with glorious views of the snow-covered peaks of the Hohe Tauern and Limestone Alps. Discover snow from its slower side, either out on your own, or led by an expert guide as a member of one of the guided expeditions.

Rome Park

Freestyle

Boarders and freestylers can improve their jumping style in the newly designed boarder and freestyle park - Rome Park Schmitten. In the past winter the fun park has evolved as a fixed meeting place in the boarder and freestyle scene. In jibbing sessions jumps are tuned, rails slid over, boxes jumped and the ultimate timing of jumps over the kicker practised.
